Northeastern uses Microsoft Office 365 Exchange as the email client for faculty, staff and students. It is accessible through a desktop (Windows/Mac), the Outlook Web App (OWA) and various mobile devices.

- When you first open Outlook on a Northeastern-managed computer, a wizard will start to walk you through adding your account. Make sure the 'Yes' button is selected to add the account, and click 'Next'.
- For the 'Auto Account Setup' screen, your email account information should auto-fill. Do not change anything. Click 'Next'.
- Outlook will start configuring your account. A window should pop up asking you to allow the autodiscover website to configure your server settings. Make sure the 'Don't ask me about this website again' box is checked, and click 'Allow'.
- A security login window will come up. Enter your Office 365 username ([myNortheasten username]@northeastern.edu) and your myNortheastern password. Make sure the 'Remember my credentials' box is checked, and click 'OK'.
- When all the steps have a green check mark, a 'Congratulations!' message will appear. Click 'Finish'.

Personal or non-managed computers:
- Microsoft is working on a new version of Outlook that will reportedly replace the existing clients on Windows and macOS, and we had our first look at the app running on a Windows 10 PC yesterday.
